The Hospitality Assistant Opportunity:

Do you have a passion for helping people? Want to train to become a Certified Nursing Assistant and get paid while learning? North Central Health Care is offering the opportunity to become a licensed CNA at no cost to you. Under the supervision of a facility Licensed Nurse, the Hospitality Assistant provides quality nursing care to residents; reports pertinent information to immediate supervisors; responds to inquiries and requests for information; assists with tasks to support department operations; and maintains a safe and clean environment.

In exchange for a commitment of employment at NCHC, we will cover all class costs, material fees and 3 exam attempts. Receive the CNA training class paid for upfront by NCHC, followed up with an offer for a position as a CNA upon successful completion of the CNA class and exams. As a CNA at Mount View Care Center, your number one job is to enhance the lives of our residents by providing Person-Centered care in our brand-new skilled nursing facility in Wausau.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting pay ranges from $14.99 - $16.33 for this role, plus $1.00 shift differential for all PM and NOC shifts. Shifts are 4:00pm – 8:00pm for part time and 2:00pm – 10:00pm for full time
  • We have one full-time and one part-time role available. The shift will be 7:00am – 3:30pm or 11:00am – 7:30pm on the weekends.

  • As a full-time employee of NCHC, you are eligible for the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). The WRS is a hybrid defined benefit plan. It contains elements of both a 401(k) or defined contribution plan and a defined benefit plan. Participating staff contribute 6.95% and NCHC will match this at 100% each pay period!

What a Hospitality Assistant does at NCHC:

  • Provide quality care to residents, promoting their rights, dignity, and individuality.
  • Attend to the individual needs of residents, such as assistance with grooming, hygiene, feeding, transfer, ambulation, and range of motion.
  • Maintain a safe, homelike environment for residents.
  • Promote Person Centered Service in all interactions.
  • Create deep relationships with residents, coworkers, and families.
