Naomi House and Jacksplace provide palliative and end of life care, symptom management and respite for children and young people with life limiting conditions. Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a senior nurse to work within our team of Clinical Team Leaders providing support and leadership to the Care Team. Your role will be demonstrating excellent clinical practice and providing leadership and mentorship whilst managing the needs of our children and young people.

As part of the senior clinical team, you will ensure day-to-day review of skill mix and care needs to ensure our high standards of care are maintained; and have direct line management responsibility for a team of nurses and carers. You will work alongside our Practice Education team to ensure staff maintain clinical competence and confidence, and work with the Care Management team in developing our services across both hospices and the community.

About you:

As a qualified paediatric or dual registered nurse with proven clinical leadership skills, you must have up to date competence in a range of clinical skills such as invasive and non-invasive respiratory support; IV and central line management; and end of life care. Excellent interpersonal skills are also important.
