Hourly Pay Rate: Hire $21.75, 6 months $22.11, 1 year $22.76

Job Responsibilities

1. Weighing, organizing, recording, and checking temperatures of incoming meat to the department

2. Ensure that all workstations are supplied with products on a first in/first out basis

3. Return unused and rejected products to boning departments

4. Knowledge of computer operation

5. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

6. This position requires a person able to work under little supervision

7. Must have the ability to communicate well with other employees

8. All v-mags coming from Ground Sausage (Bulk, Inject) need to be pushed to Fabrication Cooler

9. ***Must be able to work weekends when they are scheduled ***

 

Minimum Qualifications

 * Computer experience

 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 * No performance work actions in the last 6 months

 * No attendance Work Actions in the last 6 months

 * PHYSICAL: No restrictions pushing 500-pound v-mags

 * No restrictions working in a 28-30-degree environment

 * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

 * No restrictions prohibiting bending, twisting or grasping

 

Preferred Qualifications

 * Must have or the ability to obtain a hand jack & forklift License

 * Must read, write and speak English

To be considered for this position you must have completed six (6) months in your present position.  Team Members with less than six (6) months may be considered for promotion or transfer based on the needs of the company.
