GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
Responsible for maintaining the cycle counting program, the manufacturing order program, and assisting the Inventory Control Supervisor, Assistant, and Coordinator to help achieve and maintain a high level of inventory accuracy.
Shift Available: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventory Control Associate I
-
Perform system-generated count reports and manufacturing order assignments to cycle counters on a daily basis

Understand barcode system processes as its relate to cycle counting, inventory control, and manufacturing orders

Investigate inventory discrepancies for reconciliation and inventory adjustments in the system

Assist IC Supervisor, IC Assistant, and IC Coordinator with any special projects, yearly inventory audits, and the quarterly disposition lists

Operates an order picker, stand-up reach truck, and forklift as needed to access product.

Responsible for helping maintain warehouse and location cleanliness while performing cycle counts.

Meet and exceed daily productivity and quality standards.

Investigates and helps determine the cause of errors for corrective action and continuous improvements.

Basic understanding of inventory control, stock management and manufacturing orders.

Familiarity with cycle counting and basic warehouse operations.
-
Ability to use inventory scanning tools (e.g., scan guns) and follow procedures for counting.

Report any discrepancies or parts not found on the court report to supervisors or Quality Control.

Use the scan gun to scan and confirm inventory during counting activities.
-
Follow all procedures for confirming stock and maintaining organized inventory.

Work under close supervision and ask questions when unsure about discrepancies.

Must be willing to be cross-trained in other areas in the warehouse

Must perform within the Company Safety Program and Policies.
Inventory Control Associate II

Take full responsibility for returning parts to stock at the start of each day.

Perform cycle counts and manufacturing orders independently and follow up on discrepancies using scan guns.

Maintain accurate inventory records, reporting any missing or misplaced parts to Quality Control.

Communicate with Inventory Control coordinators to ensure inventory status is up to date.
-
Contribute to the accuracy of cycle counts by double-checking locations and counts.

Train and mentor Level I employees on inventory control practices and procedures.
-
Collaborate with pickers and other warehouse staff to ensure inventory locations are accessible and properly maintained.
Inventory Control Associate III
-
Lead daily inventory control activities, including returns to stock and cycle counting procedures and Manufacturing orders..
-
Oversee and mentor Level I and Level II employees, ensuring inventory processes are followed accurately.

Handle complex inventory discrepancies and coordinate with other teams (Quality Control, Inventory Coordinators) to resolve issues.

Conduct regular audits of inventory records, ensuring accurate reporting and stock levels.

Generate and review inventory reports, suggesting improvements for better accuracy or efficiency.
-
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., picking, packing, quality control) to ensure inventory locations are maintained and stock is accessible.

Develop and implement process improvements to optimize inventory control operations and minimize errors.
EXPERIENCE:
Inventory Control Associate I
-
0-1 year of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics.
-
Exposure to scanning technology and tracking systems is a plus but not required.
-
Limited experience with cycle counting or inventory audits.
Inventory Control Associate II
-
2-4 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or stock management.
-
Prior experience performing cycle counts and Manufacturing orders using inventory management systems.
-
Ability to independently investigate discrepancies and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
Inventory Control Associate III
-
5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or logistics.
-
Prior leadership or supervisory experience, with a proven track record of resolving complex inventory issues.
-
Extensive experience with cycle counts, stock audits, and inventory tracking systems.
EXPERTISE
Inventory Control Associate I
-
Basic knowledge of returning parts to stock and handling discrepancies.
-
Begin each day by returning parts to stock that have been set aside by shipping.
-
Perform basic cycle counts under supervision, ensuring accurate location and part tracking.
Inventory Control Associate II
-
Proficient in inventory control, cycle counting, manufacturing orders and using scanning systems.
-
Ability to identify discrepancies in inventory and follow up on missing items.
-
Knowledge of stock replenishment procedures and returning parts to stock.
-
Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze inventory reports for accuracy.
Inventory Control Associate III
-
Advanced knowledge of inventory management practices and cycle counting and manufacturing orders strategies.

Ability to lead inventory audits, oversee complex discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.

Expertise in inventory reporting systems and utilizing scan guns or other technology for stock tracking.

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills in managing inventory and stock control.
EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONNECTIONS:

Receiving/shipping associates and inventory control team.
PAY RANGE:
-
Base Pay Range between $18 - $20 per hour plus a potential quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
