ASUS Peer Tutoring Highschool Programs Coordinator
Overview
The ASUS Peer Tutoring (APT) manages the administrative and promotional aspects of the APT platform, ensuring its accessibility and efficiency for Arts & Science students. This role includes verifying tutor qualifications, overseeing tutor and tutee approvals, and maintaining the platform's content. The Director will also collaborate on outreach initiatives, develop new program components, and work to enhance student engagement. Strong organizational and communication skills are key to ensuring the program runs smoothly.

Time Commitment and Remuneration
Term: May 1st, 2025 – April 30th, 2026
Hours: 4-6 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate high school outreach initiatives that introduce students to study strategies, time management tools, and other resources that will help them succeed in postsecondary education
- Staff information booths at local high schools, ensuring that ASUS Peer Tutoring is represented in a welcoming and approachable manner
- Liaise with high school counsellors, teachers, and administrators to schedule outreach opportunities and strengthen long-term partnerships between ASUS Peer Tutoring and local schools
