Director, EDP Administration 

INSEAD is seeking a Director, EDP Administration, to join our Executive Education Department. This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France. A hybrid working model is in place – 3 days on campus, 2 days from home.

About the job 

The role plays a critical strategic and operational role in ensuring efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement of Executive Education administrative processes. This role oversees the administration, resource planning, and data analysis teams and is directly involved in the transformation of key institutional processes, including Order-to-Cash (OTC) and E-invoicing. 

As a member of the EDP Leadership Team and reporting to the Dean of Executive Education, the Director leads cross[1]functional collaboration across Finance, Legal, HR, Procurement, and Faculty stakeholders, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities. 

Strong leadership, change management capabilities, adaptability, out-of-the-box thinking, and a collaborative mindset are essential to navigate transformation, deliver process excellence, and support INSEAD's strategic goals. 

Your role within the team 

Strategic and Operational leadership

  • Drive strategic initiatives that improve operational excellence (e.g. PD Rules & Engagement, cross-departmental projects, EDP faculty evaluation insights). 

Financial and policy compliance 

  • Ensure compliance with institutional, legal, and financial policies across EDP operations. 
  • Supervise cost approvals, revenue reconciliation, and closing of accounts (including deferrals and accruals). 
  • Oversee faculty unit validation (21,000+/year) and CSP commission validation for 38 salespeople. 

Digital and process transformation 

  • Lead the transformation and automation of administrative workflows initiatives (e.g. OTC, E-invoicing). 
  • Design and implement scalable digital tools for RfI/RfP workflows and data operations. 

Client and stakeholder engagement 

  • Act as liaison between CSP and Finance to ensure contract alignment and data integrity. 
  • Provide expert input in complex client discussions involving tax, invoicing, or compliance. 
  • Support CSP and the Corporate Partnership team on sensitive payment/accounting issues. 

Resource Planning 

  • Oversee teaching space planning across campuses in collaboration with Programme Directors, Marketing and 
  • Degree Programme department. 
  • Data Governance and Insights 
  • Ensure data accuracy in faculty/programme allocation and sales/finance systems. 
  • Oversee data analytics and reporting on programme feedback and KPIs to inform improvement. 
  • Lead the FT rankings process for EDP: data collection, interpretation, and result-sharing

The ideal candidate profile 

  • Master’s degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years in administrative and managerial roles within a global environment, preferably in the professional services or higher education sectors 
  • Demonstrated experience delivering operational improvements and simplification
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles to interface effectively with Finance
  • Strong people management and team leadership
