Job Title: Organizational Talent Development Consultant

Primary Location: Grand Rapids, MI  

Employee Status: Full Time

Remote:  Hybrid Schedule. 3 days in the office with Mondays, and Fridays remote.

Travel for this Position: Occasional travel to other facilities in and out of state may be required up to 4 times per year, as well as occasional in town travel to other facilities may be required.

About this position: 

LMCU is looking for an Organizational Talent Development Consultant who is responsible for enhancing the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of our workforce at the credit union. This role will assist in designing and implementing comprehensive learning and development programs that align with our business goals and support the career growth of our employees throughout the organization.

What you’ll do: 

·       Assess credit union learning and development needs by consulting with strategic business partners ensuring alignment with business objectives to positively impact organizational performance.

·       Be responsible for the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of training and development solutions to enhance capabilities, knowledge, performance, and skills of employees, both individual contributors and leaders, in a variety of formats and offerings.  

·       Conduct regular research on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the learning and development programs offered.

·       Support the talent calibration process at the system level, and create enterprise profiles of talent strengths and opportunities, succession bench strength, and retention strategies.

·       Assist in the monitoring and measuring the effectiveness of training and development programs and communicating the findings to key stakeholders.

·       Integrate analytics and impact metrics to guide and drive future organizational effectiveness, and talent management strategies, capabilities, and initiatives.

·       Ensure appropriate assessments/measurements are in place to manage impact and effectiveness of organizational processes, programs, and initiatives.

 

What You’ll Bring:

·       Three or more years of similar or related experience within Training or Organizational Development.

·       Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics or a related field of study.

·       Certification in train-the-trainer is preferred.

·       Working knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies as well as emerging trends in learning and development.

·       Proficiency in Learning Management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.

·       Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
