Assistant Hotel Manager - Flagler Club

Department: Flagler Club

Job Summary:
The Assistant Hotel Manager at Flagler Club is responsible for ensuring that guests receive personalized service from the time of booking through departure. They will be responsible for reaching out to guests prior to their arrival, gathering guest information, obtaining special requests, and planning the guest's stay. Additionally, the Assistant Hotel Manager will ensure that guests' special room requests are fulfilled and any special occasions are recognized. Managing room inventory control and coordinating with other departments to prioritize room preparation based on guest arrivals is also a key responsibility of this role. The Assistant Hotel Manager will oversee the entire guest experience, consistently offering above and beyond service and intuitively fulfilling guest requests. In the event of any service recovery, the Assistant Hotel Manager will handle the situation to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management is required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide personalized and attentive service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with guests and other hotel departments.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guest needs and preferences.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and other relevant tools.
- A flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Reach out to guests prior to their arrival to gather guest information, obtain special requests, and plan their stay.
- Ensure guests' special room requests are fulfilled and any special occasions are recognized.
- Manage room inventory control and coordinate with other departments to prioritize room preparation based on guest arrivals.
- Provide above and beyond service to enhance the guest experience throughout the entire property.
- Intuitively complete guest requests and collaborate with other divisions and departments.
- Handle any service recovery situations to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.
- Assist the Hotel Manager with other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, and amenities to assist guests with recommendations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any guest concerns or issues.
