Job Summary

Hourly as-needed basis. At-will employee.

Required Documents

If the applicant does not hold the appropriate license and certificates to operate a school bus, the district may sponsor the applicant for the cost of training and will pay the hourly rate for the training time with a year commitment to the District. If sponsored and the applicant gets a job elsewhere before the year is up, they will be billed for a prorated amount of the training costs.

Requirements / Qualifications

MATERIALS In order to be considered you must submit the following: Letter of Interest Current Resume One Letter of Recommendation Certificate Copy (Medical Examiners Certificate DL51A) Certification (CA School Bus Driver's Certificate) H6 DMV Printout Driver's License Copy FMSCA Clearinghouse Registration Notice to Applicants: This position is considered a safety sensitive position by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Effective January 6, 2020, any applicant who wishes to be considered for this position must be registered with the FMSCA Clearinghouse. Regulations require the Red Bluff Joint Union High School District to perform a full query of any individual prior to that person being hired into a safety sensitive position. Regulations also require applicants to provide consent for the full query. Consent for the full query can only be provided via the online Clearinghouse by individuals registered with the Clearinghouse.
