Job Summary
General Atomics Integrated Intelligence is looking for an experienced Cleared System Administrator with a Top Secret/SCI clearance to provide on-site support at our Poway, California location.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, maintain and repair a variety of personal computers, peripheral devices, servers and networking equipment
- Install and maintain software applications on various Linux and Windows-based operating systems
- Provide routine hardware and software support for users.
- Provide user training
- Perform routine diagnosis on failed equipment and software applications. Perform repairs or coordinate repair work with other internal and external teams.
- Maintain reports and logs, including equipment inventory.
- Create and maintain user-facing technical documentation and reference materials on a variety of topics.
- Monitor and respond to user support tickets.
- Coordinate with developers for current and future software needs
- Coordinate with ISSM.
- Manage user accounts.
- In addition, as needed, coordinate with the CPSO or ACPSO at Charlottesville, VA to provide support for access control and processing visitors to secured locations.
- Ensure visitors have the appropriate clearance and need-to-know to participate in meetings or events.
- Assist in providing open/close training
- Conduct quarterly random inspections of personnel entering and leaving the facility.

Job Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in information technology or a related discipline and six or more years of progressive professional systems administration experience in an information technology department. May substitute equivalent working experience in the field in lieu of education.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of current personal computer technologies including peripheral devices, workstations, laptops and servers.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Basic understanding of mail servers, Active Directory, network switches and related infrastructure. Working knowledge of DHCP, DNS and VLAN’s.
- Powershell and/or Bash scripting experience.
- Basic understanding of security requirements and controls, including STIGs.
- Security+ Certification, or ability to obtain certification within 30 days.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders with a wide range of technical skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to diagnose and resolve routine technical issues, and investigate more complex issues as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Ability to work extended hours occasionally to support off-hours support and maintenance tasks.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with Configuration Management tools (Puppet, SaltStack, Ansible)
- Experience with CVE remediation (Nessus)
- Experience with Firewall rules and policies (Fortinet, Palo Alto)
- Experience with Virtualization (LXD, VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox)
