Job Qualifications

Four (4) years of accounting experience and college level education, that includes a minimum of 24 semester hours in accounting or auditing, or a certificate as Certified Public Accountant or a Certified Internal Auditor, obtained through written examination, plus the completion of the Financial Management Training Program (FMT).

Or

Bachelors degree in accounting; or a degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration that included or was supplemented by 24 semester hours in accounting and one (1) year of experience.

    Major Duties

    Manages areas of responsibility. A level II supervisor has authority for personnel actions and oversees most day-to-day operations of the group.
    Ensures invoices and correspondence are timely.
    Responsible for preparing accounts payable register and related reports. Analyzes financial statements and provides feedback.
    Answers inquiries from internal and external customers.
    Supervises most activities in the accounts payable function.
    Performs other duties as assigned.
