We’re looking for two Quality Systems Support professionals to join our new team in, Spalding, UK.
Role Summary
The Quality Systems Support provides administrative and coordination support to ensure the effective running of the Quality Management System (QMS). The role focuses on document control, policy and procedure updates, coordination of the internal audit schedule, and supporting the closure of non-conformances across all sites and departments.
This position plays an essential role in maintaining compliance with food safety, legal, and customer standards, while supporting the Quality Systems Manager in embedding a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency across the business.
Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel to other UK sites to support audits or document reviews will be required.
Responsibilities include:
- Keep Quality Systems Sharp – Maintain and update QMS documentation to ensure policies and procedures are always current, compliant, and accessible.
- Champion Policy Rollouts – Support the implementation of new and updated policies across all business areas.
- Master of Document Control – Manage version control, archiving, and ensure seamless document accessibility in line with company standards.
- Lead Internal Audits – Coordinate and maintain a robust internal audit schedule across all sites, ensuring timely execution and trained auditors.
- Drive Compliance & Closure – Track audit findings, support departments with non-conformance resolutions, and provide regular status updates.
- Support Third-Party Success – Assist in preparing for external audits and certifications including BRC, GlobalG.A.P, and key customer standards.
- Promote Continuous Improvement – Help monitor site KPIs, support improvement actions, and maintain detailed performance records.
- Coach & Guide – Train internal auditors and teams on audit techniques, documentation standards, and best practices for compliance.
- Communicate with Impact – Share audit outcomes, system updates, and ensure quality records are accurate and audit-ready at all times.
- Work Across the Business – Collaborate with internal departments and external partners like certification bodies and service providers.
Requirements
Experience we look for:
Essential
- A-levels or equivalent required.
- HACCP Level 3 or willingness to complete.
- Experience managing documents and systems in a regulated environment.
- Strong IT and data management skills (Excel, Word, document management systems).
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Proactive and well-organised, able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across functions.
- Detail-oriented with a methodical approach.
- Team player with a willingness to learn and develop.
Desirable
- Further training in Food Safety, Auditing, or Quality Management desirable.
- Previous administrative or technical support experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or fresh produce preferred.
- Exposure to audits (internal or external) desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, BRC, GMP) desirable.
- Experience in fresh produce, food manufacturing, or FMCG environment.
- Familiarity with BRCGS or customer technical standards.
- Training in internal auditing or document control systems.
- Continuous improvement mindset and interest in developing a career in Quality.
