The Royal Hospital School are seeking to appoint a Sports and Co-Curricular Assistant.
The Royal Hospital School is an independent co-educational boarding and day school for 11 - 18-year-olds, providing an outstanding, full and broad education enriched by a unique naval heritage and fit for the modern world.
Founded in 1712 in Greenwich, London, it moved to its spectacular site, set in 200 acres of Suffolk countryside overlooking the River Stour, in 1933.
The school has continued to develop its spectacular purpose-built site and has grown in size, and reputation to become one of East Anglia's leading independent schools.
We are seeking to appoint a talented and motivated Sports and Co-Curricular Assistant with a speciality in Rugby, who is keen to play a full and active role in the life of a large and vibrant boarding and day school. This is a one-year role in the first instance, though it may be extended for the right candidate.
You should be prepared to work flexible hours across approximately 33 weeks per annum, with occasional support for sports tours or school events outside of term time.
In addition to supporting our extensive sports programme particularly rugby in the Michaelmas Term you will assist in the school’s co-curricular provision, including elements of Saturday programme delivery and administration. They will also be involved in our outstanding boarding programme, contributing to the wider life of the school community.
