Job Type: Full-time, 1st Shift
Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing, and monitoring all warehouse functions for a commercial distribution company specializing in consumer electronics and high-end appliances. This role manages a team to ensure the efficient scheduling, inspection, verification, and storage of inbound receipts and returns, as well as the processing, inspection, and shipping of outbound orders. The Warehouse Manager also ensures inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventories.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and develop warehouse employees
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Maintain staffing levels to meet changing business needs
- Conduct employee performance reviews and administer discipline as needed
- Schedule and report on inbound shipments
- Monitor incoming shipments for accuracy and product condition
- Use computers and RF scanners to complete receiving processes
- Establish and maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Determine shipment methods based on company procedures and rating tools
- Oversee order picking, packing, and accuracy checks
- Coordinate and schedule outbound carrier pickups
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and periodic physical inventories

Requirements
- Proven warehouse management experience
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
- Forklift certification/experience
- Knowledge of LTL, FTL, and small parcel shipping processes
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- Strong problem-solving abilities and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office products
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, pushing, pulling) for extended periods
- Exceptional attendance record
- Willingness to work overtime and relocate if necessary
- Ability to travel for training
- Strong interpersonal/people skills
