At Paws Up Montana, the Glamping Butler Assistant (Runner) role is more than a job—it’s the heartbeat that keeps our glamping camps running smoothly. This role is for high-energy, reliable individuals who love the outdoors and thrive on supporting others behind the scenes.
You’ll be the go-to person for moving staff, supplies, and resources across the resort. From commissary deliveries to firewood restocks, from helping clear departure tents to assisting with meal service, you make sure every camp is prepared to deliver once-in-a-lifetime guest experiences.

What You’ll Do
Keep the Resort Moving
- Shuttle staff safely to and from camps.
- Deliver food and beverage items mid-service to support seamless dining experiences.
- Complete daily requisition deliveries of restock items for all camps.
- Accept and stock daily deliveries at the 9-Mile commissary.
Support Food & Beverage Service
- Assist behind the scenes during breakfast and dinner service with dishwashing, bussing, and pavilion resets.
- Ensure pavilion areas remain stocked, clean, and ready for service.
Prepare Camps for Arrivals & Departures
- Assist with stripping departure tents by removing dirty linen, towels, and trash before housekeeping.
- Break down and remove cardboard and dispose of ash at all camps.
- Restock pavilion firewood as needed.
Pitch In Where Needed
- Provide light assistance with gear/equipment checks (e-bikes, fishing equipment) when needed.
- Jump in on other operational tasks to support Camp Butlers and Managers.
Who You Are
- A reliable team player who thrives on hard work and urgency.
- Positive, flexible, and unbothered by doing tasks outside your job title.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 40 lbs, walk, bend, and stay on your feet all day.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all Montana weather.
- A safe, confident driver with a valid driver’s license and clean record.
- Able to wear and maintain the Resort uniform at all times.
- Open availability May–September (extended time off during this period will not be approved).
Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience in hospitality, food service, or outdoor recreation.
- Have worked in seasonal or fast-paced environments.
- Are quick to learn new systems and comfortable using tools like Microsoft Teams.
- Enjoy supporting others and making sure the details are covered.
