This is a hands-on role, where you will work alongside senior leaders in Corporate, Finance, Legal, and other key departments to assist in all aspects of M&A projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable working with cross-functional teams, and possess a foundational understanding of M&A processes, with the ability to drive projects forward from inception to successful integration.
Responsibilities:

- Due Diligence Support: Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Operations, etc.) to manage the due diligence process, including tracking deliverables, documenting findings, and assisting with the assessment of target companies.
- Integration Planning: Begin initial integration planning early in the due diligence phase, ensuring integration considerations are included from the outset of the deal.
Post-Merger Integration:
- Post-Deal Handoff: Transition seamlessly from deal closing to integration, taking a hands-on role in the integration plan and post-acquisition activities across departments.
- Integration Project Management: Support the integration project, including developing detailed timelines, deliverables, and key milestones across multiple workstreams (Finance, HR, IT, Operations, etc.).
- Stakeholder Coordination: Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution, escalate risks or roadblocks, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor integration progress, track financial and operational KPIs, and adjust plans as needed to ensure successful execution of the integration strategy.
- Change Management: Support change management initiatives to ensure cultural alignment and smooth transitions for employees and stakeholders.
General M&A Support:
- M&A Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve and streamline the M&A process, from deal sourcing through to integration, and work to implement best practices.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of all M&A activities, including due diligence findings, integration plans, and post-deal performance. Provide regular updates to executives and key stakeholders.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to drive complex projects to completion while balancing competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management tools.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Familiarity with M&A integration tools and playbooks.
- Experience working in high-growth or acquisitive organizations.
- Knowledge of change management best practices in M&A environments.
