Primary Responsibilities
Team Management & Development
- Create and maintain a positive environment that encourages employee longevity and future growth
- Interview, hire, coach, mentor, develop and manage for employee success
- Support the position/functions of the Director and Expense Account Managers (“EAM”) who are direct reports to this position
Quality Assurance
- Prepare and monitor dashboard reporting for volume, productivity, SLA’s and department projections; complete gap reviews and develop solutions for improved service levels
- Bring a focus on efficiencies and process improvements
- Support the Director and NEI training team in the development of training materials and processes to integrate employees quickly and efficiently, whether new hire or career progression move
- Provide training expertise to other members of the company in tax concepts and regulations
- Improve quality review process to increase accuracy and identify training opportunities
Service Management
- The customers of this department include NEI’s clients and their payroll contacts, our clients’ relocating families and NEI’s domestic and international operations employees
- Manage processes to meet the expectations of our clients
- Deliver acceptable responses/solutions to client and relocating family concerns
- Provide accurate and timely client reports
- Be available to clients throughout the day and after normal working hours, if needed
Client Relations and Sales Support
- Support client requests and sales in the presentation of expense administration services
- Lead Expense Administration Team in the implementation of new clients
- Create materials and communicate current and updated tax codes and practices.
- Ensure that client communications are prompt, professional, articulate and accurate.
Other Duties as Assigned
Job Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in business related field or equivalent experience in payroll or related financial operations
- Prior management experience – of people and processes
- Experience with relocation expenses and/or taxes helpful
- Strong understanding of payroll processes
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Detail oriented with ability to prioritize
- Proven ability to work in busy environment while handling multiple tasks
- High degree of professionalism
