As Director, Sales Operations you will be responsible for managing the sales operations and contract administration functions of the Company. Functions include management of Salesforce and integrated technologies, sales performance tracking, sales operations management, creation and maintenance of sales compensation plans, and contract management. In this role, you will manage a global staff of 13 while utilizing previous change management experiences to recommend and drive process and systems improvements with a hands-on leadership approach.
The selected candidate will reside within commuting distance of our Danvers, MA headquarters and will be expected to work in the office at least one day a week.
Compensation range: $140,000 - $175,000
Other compensation: Performance bonus eligible
The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, licensure, certifications, related experience and other related factors.
What you will be doing:
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics providing insights into sales performance (e.g., pipeline, conversion rates, win/loss analysis).
- Provide actionable insights to sales leadership based on data-driven analysis. Forecast sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Proactively analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, highlighting them to management as early as possible
- Work closely with Finance and HR, lead creation and ongoing management of annual sales compensation plans; arbitrate or clarify the application of sales compensation policies and procedures
- Develop effective and efficient contract processes for evolving product offerings
- Maintain and enforce pricing and discounting business policy document
- Responsible for the development and implementation of new processes and procedures for effective and efficient team operations and improved service levels
- Lead and mentor sales operations and contract administration teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 10+ years sales operations experience with proven track record of success
- 5+ years previous managerial experience; global leadership experience a plus
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to communicate and advance initiatives both within the department and across the organization.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce; Salesforce Admin certification preferred
- Experience creating and maintaining sales compensation plans
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience implementing business improvement initiatives across stakeholder functions to support growth and cross-functional collaboration - with a focus on agility
- Experience building and maintaining relationships to successfully work towards common strategic goals, while creating strong morale and a sense of unity among teams
