Job Description:


The Documentation, Strategic Communications, Training Analyst will provide strategic, technical, and analytical support for documentation, communications, and training initiatives within naval operations. The role involves creating and managing documentation, developing strategic communication plans, and supporting training programs to improve organizational effectiveness.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for various naval operations and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to support strategic communication and training efforts.
  • Assist with the implementation of new technologies and improvement training programs for documentation and communication systems.
  • Support analysis, research, and data calls related to strategic communications and training strategies.
  • Create and disseminate strategic communication materials, including presentations, reports, and briefings.
  • Provide technical support for Navy documentation and communication systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
  • Contribute to business case analysis (BCA) and financial/budget analysis related to documentation and communication projects.
  • Provide administrative and technical support for executive forums, modernization boards, and cross-program analysis.
  • Provide technical support for Navy digital and AI systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
  • Visualization, data engineering, ETL experience in a federal environment is preferred, particularly experience with commonly used DoD tools (i.e. ADVANA, PowerPlatform)

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the      future.
  • Must be local to DC area. Required on site 4-5 days a week at Pentagon in Arlington, VA
  • 8 years of combined professional work experience in documentation, strategic communications, training development, or related roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Information Technology, Education, or related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with documentation management, strategic communications, training development, and project management.
  • Familiarity with Navy operations, IT training, policy management, and strategic communication planning.

Security Clearance:


Applicants may be required to have an active security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance as specified in the minimum qualifications. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not be limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
