Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily and routine battery watering, electrolyte checks, connector handling, & maintenance on forklifts and industrial equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Charge batteries safely using approved designated charging equipment and follow proper battery handling procedures.
- Clean and maintain battery racks, charging stations, and work areas to prevent hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
💬 Customer Service & Communication:
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about the status and needs of their equipment.
- Provide exceptional service to internal production teams, updating them on maintenance schedules and battery status.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
📈 Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, battery technologies, and maintenance best practices to continuously improve your skills and knowledge.
🗣️ Mentorship: Assist in training new team members on proper battery maintenance and safety protocols as needed.
Availability Options:
- Sunday – Wednesday: 10 PM – 8 AM
- Monday – Friday: 11 PM – 7 AM
- Honda Lincoln Assembly Plant
- Weather-ready – wet, humid, hot, or cold.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience: Mechanical aptitude or experience with industrial equipment or mechanical systems.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Skills: Knowledge of lead-acid batteries, electrolyte levels, charging systems, and safe handling procedures is a plus but not required.
- Customer Focus: Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills with a commitment to outstanding customer service, strong attention to detail, & excellent organizational abilities.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs., perform repetitive tasks, and work standing for extended periods.
- Compliance: Ability to follow safety procedures and work with hazardous materials safely.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license required; forklift or battery certifications are a plus.
