Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintaining accurate bin locations and inventory counts
- Performing cycle counts regularly to ensure inventory accuracy
- Consolidating bin locations, and removing bins that are no longer needed
- Assists with order picking, wrapping products, packing, labeling, shipping and receiving
- Assists with Receiving merchandise, ensuring quantity of orders are correct and verifying inventory records through check-in and receiving process
- Assists with Preparing orders by pulling stock from assigned bin locations, ensuring quality control in the process
- Assists with Packaging finished product for shipping (boxing, shrink wrapping, labeling)
- Responsible for cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Participating in physical inventories to verify stock and identifying losses
- Operate within Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with D&L Company Policies and Handbook, including IT policies
- Other duties and responsibilities as necessary for the business or as requested by Management

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of appliance parts and HVAC parts preferred but not necessary. Prior experience and proficiency as receptionist/administrative assistant and Wholesale/retail sales experience preferred. Stable, solid work history.
