Position Summary
We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in leading Nami’s daily operations. The AGM will support the development of the management team, uphold elevated service standards, and play a hands-on role in ensuring seamless execution across both the dining room and bar. This leader thrives in a luxury dining environment and is passionate about Japanese cuisine, fine dining, and guest engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support GM in overseeing day-to-day operations with focus on service excellence and guest satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and develop FOH staff, reinforcing standards of hospitality, efficiency, and professionalism.
- Collaborate with the culinary and beverage teams to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
- Monitor and manage labor, inventory, and operating expenses.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Act as Manager-on-Duty, providing leadership presence and resolving guest issues with poise.
- Contribute to marketing activations, events, and community engagement.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of leadership experience in upscale or fine-dining restaurants, with at least 1 year in an AGM or comparable role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine, cocktails, sake, and wine is a plus.
- Proven ability to drive results while fostering a positive team culture.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile dining environment.
