Position SummarY:Radiology Partners (RP) is seeking a highly motivated Manager, IT Field Services Desktop Support to join our team. This pivotal role provides essential leadership and guidance to teammates, ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems for radiologists and other end users in our practice. Using a proven healthcare services model, Radiology Partners provides consistent, high-quality care to patients, while delivering enhanced value to the hospitals, clinics, imaging centers and referring physicians we serve.*This position will sit out of Austin, TXWHy Radiology Partners:Competitive Benefits package – Eligibility starts the month after hire, with tiered options to choose from.Compensation Reviews, Career Growth OpportunitiesFlexible Schedules - Remote with some onsite needsGenerous PTO Plans and Paid HolidaysProudly Certified as a Great Place to Work for Five Consecutive Years Position Duties and Responsibilities:End-User Support & Incident Management: Oversee on-site and remote IT support (including radiologist home setups), act as escalation path for complex issues, ensure SLA compliance, manage ticket queues, and analyze recurring problems to implement permanent solutions.System & Device Management: Lead large-scale IT initiatives (system upgrades, OS updates, application testing), manage hardware lifecycle (procurement, replacement, fulfillment), and maintain device integrity.Access, Downtime & Documentation: Oversee user access and downtime processes, ensure incidents are documented and communicated, and maintain knowledge base, how-to guides, and training materials to improve resolution quality.Team Leadership & Collaboration: Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management; ensure coverage and communication of support schedules; collaborate across IT, vendors, and caregivers to improve workflows and service delivery.Process, Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal policies, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to ethical, compliant IT practices.Additional Requirements: Provide after-hours support as needed and travel up to 25% (driving and air).DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:1–3 years of people leadership experience, including managing hybrid or remote teams.5–10 years of IT experience (or equivalent education/experience) with strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments.Familiarity with remote support tools, ticketing systems, and IT service delivery in dynamic environments.Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally; capable of lifting/moving equipment as needed.Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role, including prolonged computer use and occasional high-stress conditions.COMPENSATION:The salary range for this position is $100,000-$125,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
