We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to support clinically within our Acute SLT Team and to take a lead with education, which will include our ‘in house’ dysphagia training for NQPs ensuring new staff develop their competencies for managing dysphagia in the acute setting.
We are looking for someone who can work as an autonomous practitioner, working flexibly to provide timely assessment, diagnosis and intervention to patients across the varying specialities within Acute inpatients, whilst also supporting with the clinical supervision and education of more junior staff and students.
We would welcome evidence of training in tracheostomy management and experience/training in FEES and modified barium swallow e.g. MBSImp competencies.

Qualifications:Essential
- Health Professions Council Registration
- Recognised professional qualification to Degree or Masters level
- Evidence of relevant post graduate training including leadership training

- Practice Educators Qualification
- Member of professional body e.g. RCSLT

- Highly developed knowledge in specialist professional field, underpinned by theory.
