About Lendable

Lendable is on a mission to make consumer finance amazing: faster, cheaper, and friendlier. We're building one of the world’s leading fintech companies and are off to a strong start:

  • One of the UK’s newest unicorns with a team of just over 600 people

  • Among the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK

  • Profitable since 2017

  • Backed by top investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs

  • Loved by customers with the best reviews in the market (4.9 across 10,000s of reviews on Trustpilot)

So far, we’ve rebuilt the Big Three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance. We get money into our customers’ hands in minutes instead of days.

We’re growing fast, and there’s a lot more to do: we’re going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions worth of financial products are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes.

Join us if you want to

  1. Take ownership across a broad remit. You are trusted to make decisions that drive a material impact on the direction and success of Lendable from day 1

  2. Work in small teams of exceptional people, who are relentlessly resourceful to solve problems and find smarter solutions than the status quo

  3. Build the best technology in-house, using new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting

About the role

You’ll be a key part of our People Team, working within the Talent Team. While your core focus will be Tech hiring - Engineering, Product, Data, and Design - you’ll also contribute to hiring and people projects across Lendable to uphold our high bar.

Please note this role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers, understand team goals, and identify solutions to hiring bottlenecks.

  • Become fluent in Lendable’s hiring processes, tools, and practices.

  • Demonstrate you are a self-sufficient, action-oriented contributor who initiates and leads change.

  • Help the team meet hiring targets, while ensuring a top-tier candidate experience and smooth end-to-end recruitment processes.

What we’re looking for

  • You have a great eye for detail, strong organisation and time management skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • 1-3 years of proven experience as a Junior Talent Partner or equivalent role, within a fast-paced Technology environment

  • You have experience finding talented technical talent e.g. Software Engineers

  • You possess a naturally curious and creative mindset, constantly asking: “How can we do things better?”

  • You enjoy owning the 360 recruitment process.

  • You have experience interviewing people and understanding what makes people tick.

  • You are passionate about candidate experience & building relationships with internal stakeholders.

  • This role will be a 12 month fixed term contract.

How you’ll impact those objectives

  • You will support hiring for our Technology teams, making sure we hire the best of the best

  • You will keep our candidates engaged and informed at every stage to ensure a positive candidate experience. This includes meeting and greeting them in the office, and setting them up for interviewing.

  • You will become a subject matter expert in the world of FinTech - building relationships with future talent and keeping yourself up to date with the latest talent acquisition trends.

  • You will continuously use data driven insights to improve our workflows and processes.

  • You will ensure the applicant tracking system information is up-to-date as well as a high level of data integrity. You will work closely with the wider People team to provide support and collaborate on company initiatives.

The interview process

  • Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to whip up breakfast, lunch, snacks, and drinks in the office every Tuesday-Thursday.

  • We care for our Lendies’ well-being both physically and mentally, so we offer coverage when it comes to private health insurance

  • We're an equal-opportunity employer and are looking to make Lendable the most inclusive and open workspace in London
