We are looking for you to join our headquarters in Hamburg's HafenCity!

Your new job includes

As a Supply Chain Network Manager (m/f/d) in the logistics department, you will be responsible for the strategic management of external logistics service providers (3PL) in the transport sector.
In particular, you will

  • manage external logistics service providers through regular performance analyses, business review meetings and coordinated escalation measurers in the event of performance deviations
  • establish and maintain long-term, strategic partnerships with logistics service providers
  • contribute your expertise in freight tendering and carry out global market analyses, benchmarks and tariff negotiations in close coordination with internal stakeholders
  • develop and negotiate processes, standards and service level agreements (SLAs) with internal stakeholders and ensure compliance with all requirements
  • independently analyse the flow of goods and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify potential for optimisation in terms of bundling transport structures, new forms of delivery, as well as loading aids and means of transport
  • continuously drive forward holistic improvements for the supply chain and develop best practices with internal and external stakeholders in order to make the supply chain network more flexible and resilient and reduce CO2 emissions

Preferred Profile

  • Completed business studies with a focus on logistics and/ or supply chain management or an alternative successfully completed training program
  • Several years of professional experience with proven success in transport or contract logistics 
  • Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel), SAP experience (ERP, BI/ BO) is desirable
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and German, further language skills are an advantage
  • A structured and strategic way of working or thinking as well as an affinity for the preparation of e.g. diverse data sources and spreadsheets
  • Good business judgment combined with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including across different hierarchy levels
