The Advancement Office at Greenville University is seeking?student?assistants to support our fundraising, donor relations, and data management efforts. These positions provide valuable, hands-on experience in areas such as gift processing, database management, donor stewardship, and prospect research.?Student?assistants play an important role in helping us ensure that donors are thanked well, gifts are recorded accurately, and data is kept current so the university can build strong relationships with its supporters. Each position has a unique focus, but all contribute to the Advancement Office’s mission of empowering?students through the transforming power of a Christ-centered education.
Job Title:?Student Donor Acknowledgment Assistant – Advancement Office
Position Overview:
The?Student?Stewardship & Acknowledgment Assistant supports donor relations by helping execute the university’s acknowledgment and stewardship processes. This position ensures that donors are thanked promptly and meaningfully, reinforcing the mission of Greenville University.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute donor acknowledgment letters, receipts, and thank-you notes.
- Assist with creating personalized stewardship pieces (e.g., handwritten notes, event follow-ups).
- Support Advancement staff with mailings, printing, and organizing donor recognition materials.
- Help maintain records of acknowledgments in Raiser's Edge NXT.
- Assist with stewardship reports and donor recognition projects.
- Assist the Advancement Department as needed
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in 6+ credit hours at GU
- Strong written communication and professional presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Reliability and ability to meet deadlines.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive donor information with discretion.
