The Parks and Recreation department is hiring for 3 Flag Football instructors for the girl's fall program. This program is scheduled on Sunday from September 14 through October 12, from 12:45 - 3:00pm. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead and organize flag football practices and drills for youth participants
- Teach fundamental skills such as passing, catching, running routes, defending, and flag-pulling
- Emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play on and off the field
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and practice activities that build skill progression
- Supervise participants to ensure safety and proper use of equipment
- Provide positive feedback and encouragement to foster confidence and growth
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and program staff
- Assist with game officiating and enforcing rules when necessary
- Model responsible behavior and act as a positive role model for all participants
- Set up and take down field equipment before and after sessions
