SALARY RANGE - This position pays Minimum Wage $16.50/hour, plus tips. The Bell person is responsible for assisting with the check-in/check-out processes and accommodating guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.

 

Essential Functions

  • Must adhere to the company’s Service culture – 4 Keys to creating guests for life. 
  • Must actively participate in team member referral program and be a Talent Ambassador for Silverado Resort.
  • Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
  • Be knowledgeable of all VIP areas.
  • Be aware of all daily events.
  • Report Safety or Guests Hazards to the Guest services management or Safety and Loss Prevention team.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of the resorts, its’ features, and benefits.
  • Load and unload luggage carts.
  • Escort guests and deliver luggage to rooms and familiarize them with resort services and amenities (hours of outlets, pool, and exercise room, etc.). Provide a brief tour of the guest room highlighting the main features and benefits.
  • Check/store luggage for arrivals and departures with luggage tags.
  • Deliver luggage or/and amenities to the guest rooms.
  • Provide shuttle service throughout Silverado Resort via golf cart and guest services vehicles.
  • Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance of guest service vehicles ands golf carts/
  • Assist with room changes.
  • Maintain current listing of local and area attractions, special events and activities.
  • Maintain list of local transportation guides, churches, sports arenas, etc.
  • Assist Houseperson with guest requests.

 

  • Provide information, maps and directions as required.
  • Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

 

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
  • Must be 18 years of age to operate a golf cart and Silverado Resorts vehicles.

 

Working Conditions and Schedule

  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
  • Heavy work - Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. Ex
  • Must be able to stand during entire shift.
  • Must be able to move/maneuver in an outdoor environment during the changing seasons.
  • This role requires operating a golf cart and Silverado Resorts vehicles.
