Summary of the Role
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing a variety of projects, primarily analytical in nature, to support the Human Resources function. This role oversees the conducts monthly audits, maintains key HR systems and data, and fulfills various reporting and data requests. Additionally, the HR Generalist contributes to cross-functional HR initiatives and supports other areas within the department.

Primary Responsibilities
• Oversees the day-to-day operations of UKG, including performing regular system audits to ensure data integrity, configuring system settings in alignment with company policies, setting up system file feeds, and serving as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries.
• Serves as the primary contact for HRIS reporting. Prepares and distributes reports for management and other departments, including automated reports (e.g., monthly and quarterly headcount, performance management feeds). Generates ad hoc reports for key HR metrics such as headcount and turnover.
• Conducts monthly internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance across HR systems and processes.
• Supports the onboarding process by completing Form I-9 verification and guiding new associates through their setup in the HRIS platform.
• Maintains company organization charts. Updates and maintains the HR website to support the HR and Benefits functions.
• Assists with the annual Open Enrollment process, including system updates and communication of associate elections to benefits vendors.
• Provides backup support for the Benefits function, including assisting with benefits-related inquiries, vendor communications, administrative tasks, and validating payroll as needed.
• Serves as a resource to the entire department by completing special projects as assigned.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources or Payroll in an analytical capacity.
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
