PCSI is looking for experienced Lead Storeroom Cleark on Ft. Hood. Typical work hours are A.M. Shift5:30am-2:00pm, Mid Shift: 8:00am-4:00pm, P.M. Shift: 11:00am-7:30p.m., Weekend Shift: Sat & Sun 7:00a.m.-3:30p.m., 11a.m.-7:30p.m., with monthly rotation. This position will report to the DEFAC Manager.

- Base pay $20.16 hr. + 0.50 Data Entry per hour worked.
- additional allowance every hour worked: uniform $0.15, Shift differential$0.20 after 1:00pm

What you'll do as a Lead Storeroom Clerk:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, and common fractions.
- Adhere to food storage handling and protection standards in accordance with TB Med 530.
- Load and unload large quantities of food subsistence items on a daily basis.
- Perform inspections of packaged food items.
- Understand FIFO (First in, first out) issuing procedure.
- Ability to follow and understand all Department of the Army and Department of Defense Forms as it pertains to food service, using Army Regulation 30-22.
- May be required to serve as a member of various employee committees.
- Will lead a team responsible for the procurement, issuance, and disposition of dining facility subsistence.

What you'll need to be successful:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent with demonstrated ability to complete the work assigned.
- Have demonstrated experience in leading teams that manage subsistence stocks is preferred. Experience as a team member that handles subsistence stock but without supervisory experience may be considered.
- Possess a SERV Safe qualification certificate.
- MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A GOVERNMENT COMMON ACCESS CARD and pass all government required computer usage tests.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to climb, bend, squat, push, lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. Occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Thorough knowledge of safety principles and practices as related to storage and food preparations.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of sanitation and personal hygiene as applied for food preparation and services.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of safe handling of foods.
- Considerable knowledge of supply accountability and reporting requirements.
- Ability to work for long periods of time, while standing and occasionally working under conditions of high temperature.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.
- Ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion.
- Ability to operate and drive up to a ten-ton motor vehicle with standard transmission.
- Specific vision abilities are required by this job, which include, close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.
- Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
- Possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
- Ability to use a standard office computer utilizing the installed version of Windows and ability to use the Army Food Management Information System.
- If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
