Xpressdocs is looking for an experienced HR Generalist who will be supporting day-to-day human resources operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and providing guidance to managers and employees. This role is responsible for administering HR programs, processing payroll, supporting talent management initiatives, and fostering a positive workplace culture aligned with the company’s values.
In this position, you will:
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Administer employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes
- Maintain employee records and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Administer benefits including open enrollment, employee questions, and vendor communication.
- Support recruitment efforts by coordinating job postings, scheduling interviews, and participating in candidate selection when needed.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support employee relations by addressing concerns, escalating issues appropriately, and promoting a culture of respect and fairness.
- Partner with managers on performance management processes, including reviews, corrective actions, and employee development.
- Coordinate HR programs such as training, employee recognition, engagement initiatives, and wellness activities.
- Generate reports and provide HR metrics to support decision-making.
- Implement and administer employee policies
- Administer and manage employee leave programs including FMLA, workers’ compensation, short-term disability (STD), long-term disability (LTD), unemployment claims, and other leaves of absence (LOA).
- Remain flexible and adaptable, able to effectively work within a diverse and often ambiguous work environment while applying good judgement.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field.
- 4+ years’ experience in HR
- Experience processing payroll and administering leave programs.
- Expertise in HR policies and procedures
- Experience in Change Management
- Strong knowledge of ADP
- Strong knowledge of Employment/Labor laws
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused attitude, with high level of professionalism and discretion
- Familiarity with MS Office suite
- Excellent communication skills
