Team Overview:

Impinj is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the development of compelling technical messaging for the company’s portfolio of market-leading RAIN RFID products, technologies, and solutions built in collaboration with our ecosystem partners.

In this strategic role, you will own content creation initiatives that elevate market awareness, educate partners and customers, and accelerate adoption of our RAIN IoT solutions. You will translate intricate technologies into clear, audience-relevant narratives, blending technical writing proficiency with a strong understanding of market trends and customer needs. The role will require close coordination with product management, sales, corporate marketing, and executive leadership to ensure Impinj tells a unified, impactful story across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate communicates well, knows wireless IoT tech and semiconductor markets, and has a proven track record of developing content that resonates with audiences including technical and business decision-makers. 

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and implement engaging technical content and communication strategies that improve public interest in Impinj, while also growing awareness, adoption, and understanding of Impinj’s products, technologies, and solutions
  • Compose technical content for product and solution launches, covering solution outlines, briefs, informative papers, web copy, launch messaging, blogs, presentations, and sales enablement assets
  • Translate sophisticated product capabilities into clear, differentiated value propositions that resonate with customers, partners, key industry audiences and C-level executives in the wireless, telecom, and IoT sectors
  • Manage the development and harmonization of messaging across product management, sales, corporate marketing, and partner teams
  • Define and deliver compelling technical sales enablement tools, presentations, battlecards, video scripts, guided demos, and product training to drive customer adoption and retention, in collaboration with sales and partners
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives by developing content that reflects Impinj’s technology innovation and market leadership in RAIN RFID.
  • Formulate and reinforce executive communications, covering keynote presentations, internal narratives, and technical messaging that align leadership voice with the company’s brand and market strategy

What You Will Bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in content development, messaging for technical products, with a strong emphasis on translating complex technologies into clear, compelling narratives for B2B audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, technology, or relevant field of study such as electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in delivering impactful messaging, positioning, and marketing collateral
  • Proven track record managing high-quality technical content overseeing solution briefs, whitepapers, technical blogs, web copy, sales enablement materials, and launch messaging
  • Deep understanding of IoT, wireless technologies, and semiconductors, with the ability to tailor messaging for audiences ranging from engineers to executives
  • Demonstrated ability to develop positioning and messaging frameworks that support product launches, go-to-market campaigns, and partner initiatives
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working alongside product management, sales, marketing, and executive leadership to align content with business goals
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills that demonstrate attention to detail, appropriate tone, and brand alignment
  • Comfortable delivering quality work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines and ambiguity

Compensation & Benefits:

The benefits listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Impinj and the country where you work.

The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $126,100 - $189,200. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
