As a Facilities Projects Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing engineering projects, coordinating commissioning activities, and managing minor facility projects. As required, troubleshoot and coordinate repairs to industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
What you'll do:
Facilitates and coordinates implementation and commissioning activities for facility maintenance projects.
Liaises with production cell leaders to communicate both facility maintenance and vendor details. Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
Manages minor facilities projects from conceptualization through commissioning including financial responsibility.
Installs mechanical systems associated with the manufacture, repair, modification, and refurbishment of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
Provides instruction, information, and material to all appropriate staff/vendors to ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner.
Monitors the work of sub-contractors/vendors to ensure they conform to company standards.
Manages changes in implementation details as they occur, and communicates appropriately.
Assists with or coordinates vendor delivery and subcontractor communication to complete equipment installation.
Facilitate preventative maintenance programs and oversee specialized preventative maintenance taskings as required.
Responsible for creating or revision of company security policies and procedures.
Consistently and accurately reviews, responds to, and processes all security paperwork and systems for accuracy, completion and submission.
Providing policy interpretation to management regarding security requirements and procedures and implementation of appropriate security plans and procedures.
Assists with Industrial Security Briefing contractor screening and oversight of processing new employee card access.
Oversees badging of employees, visitors, consultants and government representatives to ensure compliance with company policies.
Conduct investigations and reporting security violations to General Counsel and senior management.
Perform periodic self-inspections of company policies and procedures and report findings to sites, sector and corporate leadership.
Conduct themselves as a team member, able to contribute security interests in all settings specific to the team's needs.
Carries out special projects as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Good planning, organizational, leadership, interpersonal, decisions making, oral and written communication skills.
Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and control systems.
High degree of mechanical aptitude, accuracy and precision.
Working knowledge of related company instructions and company processes.
Working knowledge of PCs in the current company operating system environment.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
