POSITION SUMMARY
Responsibilities and duties encompass various shipping/receiving assignments, data entry, cycle counting, inventory
and distribution of parts and hardware as required. Position requires knowledge of NLB equipment and a strong
customer service attitude. The ultimate goal is to provide NLB and its customers with world-class service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.
- Places incoming material, components or parts in parts room, warehouse or storage areas.
- Pulls material, components, or parts for jobs, shop orders, and worker orders for all production areas.
- Assembles wood or cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers.
- Nails cover on wooden crates and binds containers with metal tape using strapping machine.
- Inserts items into containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
- Stamps or glues identifying information and shipping instructions into crates or containers.
- Post weights and shipping charges, affixes UPS or air freight labels.
- Replenish stock bins from overflow area.
- Performs daily cycle counts on parts.
- Assisting customers with rentals and parts.
- General housekeeping of area.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, get along with co-workers, and deal with colleagues effectively and professionally.
- A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Certificates & Licenses
Valid Michigan Driver's License.
Ability to pass Hi-Lo Driver Exam and receive a Hi-lo License.
