What Will You Be Involved With?
- Design, develop and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical design specs.
- Assist in reproducing, investigating and debugging software issues in coordination with the Development team.
- Recommend product improvements, usability enhancements or corrections in coordination with the Product Management team.
- Collaborate with a team of testers to constantly improve and enhance each other’s skill sets and arsenal of test tools.
- Design and Update the automation framework to support new features or fix automation issues.
- Manually test new features thoroughly before automation is developed
- Responsible for testing product releases via a combination of system-level automated and manual tests.
What You Bring to the Table
- 2+ years of experience with testing multi-asset (Futures, Equities, Fixed Income, FX) trade analytics applications.
- 3+ years experience in developing and executing automated tests or scripts using Python (with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, etc), or R or similar programming languages, to ensure data accuracy, and integrity.
- Extensive experience with testing cloud-based systems (AWS) and cloud-native databases, particularly Snowflake.
- In-depth knowledge of pre- and post-Trade TCA, SEC & FINRA rule compliance, liquidity risk, MiFID II, and PRIIPs analytics is highly advantageous.
- Expertise in performance and load testing for SQL queries, data pipelines, and scripts handling large datasets.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), test engineering principles, and agile methodologies.
