Position Summary:
The Hyacinth Foundation seeks a qualified individual to serve as a Part-Time Temporary Development Assistant. This position will provide administrative and logistical support to the Director of Development in preparation for the organization’s upcoming Gala, as well as assist with related fundraising and development activities. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and communication skills who can manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist      with planning and execution of the annual Gala, including tracking      sponsorships, donations and auction items.Provide      administrative support related to donor communications, acknowledgments,      and event materials.Create      content for organizational social media accounts to promote gala      activities and donor engagement.Coordinate      with vendors, volunteers, and partners to ensure smooth event operations      on the night of the event.Assist      with online fundraising and event ticketing platforms (Classy experience      preferred).Conduct      local travel, as needed, to collect auction items or materials from      community partners.Support      the Director of Development with other fundraising and donor engagement      activities as assigned.

  • Employment      Type:      Part-Time, Temporary
  • Expected      Schedule:      Approximately 15–20 hours per week, through conclusion of Gala, with      potential opportunity for permanent employment.
  • Compensation: $25.00 an      hour.
  • Location: New      Brunswick Office Mon through Wednesday, then Friday.
