*This position is contingent upon a future opening with Gunnison.
Salary: $100,000-$120,000/year
Work Location: Hybrid, 2-3 days on-site in Capitol Hill, DC.
The UEM Engineer will serve as primary technical resource and solution-provider for the customer and will interact with other technology groups both internal and external as appropriate.
- Aid the UEM team in the configuration of Intune and/or Jamf device management platforms
- Aid the UEM team in maintaining Intune and/or Jamf device management platforms
- Troubleshoot Intune- and/or Jamf-related issues
- Provide knowledge articles and technical articles for other support tiers
- Provide mobile device support, hardware/software installation and configuration support.
- Assist in developing user documentation/installation procedures.
- Serve as a resource for solving user problems requiring an advanced level of technical support.
- Provide support for application software installation and use.
- Assist in developing user documentation/installation procedures.
- Work closely with other HIR groups to support current technology.
- Interact with other HIR groups as appropriate to efficiently manage all House endpoints.
- Confer with senior engineering staff to resolve more complex problems.
- Perform other official duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Two (2) to four (4) years minimum experience with Microsoft Intune and/or Jamf
- One (1) to two (2) years minimum experience with patch management
- Two (2) years experience minimum with PowerShell (writing and utilizing PowerShell to automate the management of systems, including deployment tools and exporting data).
- One (1) year minimum experience using BMC Remedy Incident and Change or Knowledge Management or a similar tool.
- Must be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds of equipment.
- Ability to write and utilize PowerShell to automate the management of systems, including deployment tools and exporting data.
- Ability to interact professionally with executive-level customers and management in resolving technical problems on an emergency basis.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of customer service for all support calls and adhere to all Quality Standards.
- Willingness to participate in HIR projects and initiatives for House customers.
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
- US Citizenship or Green Card.
- Must demonstrate advanced technical skills and the ability to develop solutions to complex technical problems.
- Be able to interact with executive-level customers and management.
- Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet challenging deadlines.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and telephone mannerism.
- Demonstrate strong business/systems analysis experience working closely with users to resolve problems and capture new business requirements.
- Be self-motivated to work supervised and unsupervised as needed.
Preferred: Related college degree and/or certifications preferred but not required.
Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements.
