The Summit YMCA, a branch of The Summit Area YMCA (SAY), is seeking a efficient, energetic team member to help maintain the facilities cleanliness. This position is responsible for providing a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and orderly environment for members, guests, and employees.

What You’ll Do:
- Keep all areas of the facility in top shape — from lobbies and locker rooms to fitness areas and community spaces.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting, and replenishing supplies.
- Safely operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning materials in compliance with OSHA and YMCA standards.
- Report and assist with maintenance issues when needed.
- Support special cleaning projects and pitch in where needed to serve our community.
- Model YMCA values by creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all.
Salary & Benefits:
This Full-Time position (40 hours per week) is scheduled Monday- Friday, 6:30am- 3:00pm.
The salary range for this role is $17.50 - $20.00/ hour and is based on experience. Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in housekeeping duties preferred.
- Experience working with the public is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
