Location: Bend
Compensation: $27.21/hour (plus $0.50/hour for bilingual Spanish)
Hours: Regular full-time (40 hours/week)

NeighborImpact Housing Program Overview
NeighborImpact's Housing program helps Central Oregon residents by offering a wide range of services to support individuals and families in Central Oregon who are experiencing housing instability or seeking to improve their housing situation.

Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The Family Support & Connections (FS&C) program offers tailored in-home case management services designed to promote client self-sufficiency and facilitate access to resources that support individualized goals.
This position is responsible for conducting screening, intake, and assessment with prospective clients in a compassionate and professional manner to determine eligibility for program participation, working collaboratively with Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS). The role focuses on assisting families as they develop and pursue strength-based objectives. Referring clients to relevant community partner agencies and service providers for children and family programs is a key aspect of this position’s responsibilities. This position requires prompt, accurate record keeping and maintenance.
Requirements
Required
- Associate’s degree in early childhood development or related field required
- In lieu of a degree, 3 years of direct experience in Early Childhood Development, Parent Education, or related services required
- Knowledge of early childhood development required
- Ability to travel throughout the tri-county area regularly, even in inclement weather, using personal vehicle required
- Prior to date of hire and throughout employment:
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of current auto insurance
- Access to reliable transportation required
- Required within 30 days of hire:
- Enrollment in the Oregon Parenting Education Collaborative Training
- Required within 90 days of hire:
- Completion of mandatory reporter training, and required to be done once annually
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Completion of the Bloodborne Pathogens and Naloxone Training
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood development or related field preferred
- Case Management experience preferred
- Candidates bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
