The Opportunity:


We’re seeking a dynamic, hands-on engineering leader to drive us into the future of industrial technology. You will lead both new product development and continuous improvement of existing solutions. This role is central to our growth strategy and will play a key part in delivering on our vision to become the most trusted brand in threaded fastening.


You’ll lead a talented team of engineers (software, electrical, and mechanical), guiding them through the full product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond, while ensuring features and solutions respond to real customer needs.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and Inspire: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Product Development: Own the end-to-end engineering process; from ideation and prototyping to testing, validation, and launch.
  • Engineer for Impact: Solve the right problems thoughtfully. Design with purpose — not for engineering’s sake, but to deliver real value to customers. Ensure all engineering efforts are grounded in a deep understanding of customer needs, use cases, and pain points.
  • Engage with Customers: Collaborate directly with customers to understand their challenges solve real-world problems. This includes on-site visits, trade show interactions, and technical discussions with engineers, operators, and decision-makers.
  • Manage the Process: Bring project management expertise, implementing and refining structured development processes (e.g., Stage-Gate, Agile, hybrid, etc.). Prioritize work using frameworks like impact vs. effort or the Kano model. Ensure projects are delivered with urgency and within target budgets.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to align engineering efforts with business goals and market needs.
  • Provide Technical Oversight: Provide guidance on complex technical challenges, including mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and system integration.
  • Support Continuous Improvement: Lead value engineering initiatives, cost reduction projects, and quality improvements for existing products.
  • Contribute to Strategic Planning: Develop long-term product and technology roadmaps. Evaluate emerging technologies and trends.

What you Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Software Engineering or related field (Master’s or PE preferred).
  • 7-10+ years of engineering leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial technology environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex products to market.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing/assembly processes.
  • Strong project management skills and familiarity with structured development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to influence across functions and levels.
  • High energy, high integrity, and a relentless drive to deliver results.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.
