Description
The Assistant Project Manager will serve in assigned aspects of industrial construction, including contract administration, construction execution, and end-to-end planning, developing, scheduling, and ongoing management of project outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist in bid preparation- machinery quotation, material quotation, and project detailing.
- Assist with the coordination of project details- drawings, equipment submissions, material specifications, performance specifications, project changes, and document control.
- Attend and participate in project meetings as required.
- Assist the Project Manager with the preparation of progress reports and meeting minutes.
- Assist in preparing and tracking payment requests/invoices and estimates
- Assisting with material procurement and expediting deliveries.
- Assist with project close-out out- document coordination, correction of project deficiencies, and execution of warranties.
- Adherence to company safety policies.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education & Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or construction management.
- Proficient in the Autodesk Environment.
- MS Office (Word & Excel) and virtual collaboration tools.
- CMIC, and Procore experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills- written and verbal
- Having initiative and a positive, "can-do” attitude is essential.
- Efficient time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish effective professional relationships with employees and project managers.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, and climbing stairs (high rooftops included).
- Ability to work at heights and around moving machinery, including vibrating machinery, and tolerate environmental conditions consisting of heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, and dust.
- Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time (while working on job sites, driving, etc.).
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
