About the Role
BGIS is seeking a Project Manager with strong electrical expertise to deliver projects across data centres, hospitals, laboratories, and other live operational environments.
The role is based on client sites across the Sydney metropolitan area. You’ll be responsible for managing the end-to-end project lifecycle—from planning and design coordination through to construction, commissioning, and handover—while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects within live, critical environments.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure safe and timely delivery.
- Manage risks, isolations, and change processes in line with operational requirements.
- Drive quality, safety, and efficiency throughout project execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering projects in critical facilities (e.g., data centres, hospitals, labs).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems (HV/LV, UPS, generators, switchgear, etc.).
- Relevant electrical qualifications.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects in live operational environments.
- Must be based onsite and available to travel to client locations to oversee delivery.
