Financial Analyst
- Salary Range: $68,182- $81,817 based on relevant years of experience
- Location: Larimer county, Colorado
- Status: Full time, 40 hours per week
- Hours: Monday -Friday- in-person
Role Overview:
Responsible for providing key analytical insights to enable enlightened decision making within a rapidly growing, ambitious organization. Collaborate with all levels of the organization to resolve issues of varying magnitude with robust financial analysis. Assist with various financial activities including data gathering, trending, modeling, forecasting, planning, and reporting. Collect information from various areas across the company and assist in the building of models, providing insight into underlying business dynamics. Contribute to the annual budgeting process, and other initiatives as they arise; can own and contribute to processes and/or portions of processes.
Essential Duties:
- Assist with the preparation of accurate and timely financial analysis, forecasts, and performance reports.
- Develop business cases and financial models to support decision-making.
- Participate in special financial and operational studies to identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain tools, scorecards, models, and reports using Excel and Prophix.
- Meet with budget owners to determine if the numbers tell the story as to why variances do or do not exist.
- Provide analytical support for projects and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with and learn from other analysts on financial processes and industry-specific matters.
- Apply expertise and leverage team knowledge to tackle complex, ambiguous challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field required.
- More than three years of experience in auditing, financial analysis, planning, budgeting, forecasting or statistics preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be evaluated and considered.
Highly Desired:
- Experience in Non-Profit, Behavioral Health, or Healthcare settings.
- Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred.
