You will

  • provide support to the Home’s Manager and the Business Support Assistant Manager to maintain management information for the Head of Service.
  • be a go-to person for help and support in administration and finance processes in a busy and fast changing environment.
  • provide administrative support to the Children’s Home operational team.
  • have a good working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and financial processes.
  • to be able to manage your own time and workload to meet challenging deadlines.
  • have good communication and IT skills, with an ability to contribute to a team approach.
  • have the ability to work confidently under your own initiative and work independently to resolve a range of issues.
  • have a keen eye for detail and show accuracy.
  • be able to contribute to improving systems both in the Home and across the service.

The Children's Home are mixed-gendered, aged 8 - 17 years old. We provide support for the children in our care to achieve the best possible outcomes in all aspects of their lives, including education, health, and social and fun activities, as well as supporting them to build positive and appropriate relationships.
