What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct Concrete Testing & Ensure Compliance: Perform field and lab tests on raw materials and concrete mixes to meet ACI, ASTM, and DOT standards.
Manage Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records and generate regular reports on quality control activities and test results.
Support Mix Design & Optimization: Assist in developing and refining mix designs to enhance performance, reduce costs, and meet customer needs.
Lead Quality Assurance & Lab Operations: Oversee QC lab functions, equipment calibration, and internal audits to ensure consistent quality and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate & Troubleshoot Across Teams: Partner with plant operations and customers to resolve quality issues, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior technicians.
What Are We Looking For
- Strong understanding of concrete materials, mix design, and testing procedures
- Ability to interpret technical data and apply quality control principles effectively
- Skilled in using lab equipment and software tools for data analysis and reporting
- Clear communication and collaboration skills across teams and customer interactions
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and continuous learning in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
This role involves a combination of fieldwork, lab testing, and collaboration with plant and operations teams. You’ll be working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and proactive problem-solving are key to success.
