Duties
You will instruct personnel in specific tasks and job techniques and make available written instructions, reference materials, and guidance in the preparation of technical specifications using applicable directives and regulations.,You will lead personnel in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks.,You will monitor and report on the status and progress of work.,You will prepare and/or oversee the preparation of cost estimates.,You will provide training and assistance to other personnel in the preparation of technical specifications, amendments and contract modifications.,You will maintain program and administrative reference materials.,You will prepare quality assurance plans for service contracts.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Overseeing the development, preparation, formatting and review of contract technical specifications and drawings by personnel, advising personnel on work methods, practices and procedures, leading personnel in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks, preparing and/or overseeing the preparation of cost estimates, and providing training to personnel in the preparation of technical specifications and contract modifications. Education
An undergraduate or graduate degree with a total of 15 semester hours in an appropriate scientific, technical, or social science field(s), and at least one course above the introductory level in the field(s) covered by this position may be substituted for specialized experience. The equivalent of 15 semester hours may have been gained through vocational or educational training above the high school level at a public, private, or Armed Forces school.
