FULL-TIME [/Nonexempt] : 40 hours per week
Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) seeks a talented Housing Program Assistant and Recruitment Specialist to contribute their expertise in providing essential business services to our provider organizations and customers. The Program Assistant is responsible for providing support to homeless services provided by CCSI, including the Coordinated Entry System and the Rapid Re-Housing Partnership Program. Coordinated Entry helps the community prioritize its resources to ensure those with the highest needs receive services first. Additionally, the Rapid Re-Housing Program assists with facilitating housing placement for homeless households with moderate barriers to housing. Additionally, this position will be supporting the homeless community by actively searching for housing options within the Monroe County suburban area, working with landlords to incentivize them to work with the homeless households searching for housing within the Coordinated Entry and Rapid Rehousing programs.
In this role, you will be
- Complete necessary Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) reporting for Rapid Re-Housing and Coordinated Entry (CE); ensure data quality standards are met
- Prepare routine and special reports using HMIS and/or RRH databases
- Prepare internal reports required for program management
- Organize monthly meetings, as necessary, with homeless service providers and other stakeholders and ensure necessary materials are prepared in advance; maintain meeting minutes
- Review funding voucher documentation from partner agencies to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist with processes related to vouchering/claiming
- Complete quarterly and annual reports for CA and RRH to submit to funders
- Assist the Homeless Services Manager with preparing a response to the annual Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Request for Proposals for CA and RRH
- Search for housing opportunities within the suburban Monroe County area.
- Work with Landlord Incentive programs to support landlords in providing housing options for people coming from homelessness.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience (see CCSI's equivalency chart).
- At least two years of experience in the human services field
