Job Description:
The Naval Expeditionary Health Support Analyst will provide programmatic, strategic, technical, and analytical support for health support systems within naval operations. The role involves programmatic, technical, and integration support for fleet and shore health sustainment, focusing on health system modernization and strategic planning.
- Analyze health support systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Support the planning, implementation, production, and delivery of a medical systems integration budget formulation schedule.
- Programmatic support for Naval Expeditionary Health Services Support Programs (NEHSS); Deployable Medical Systems Programs (DEPMEDS), Expeditionary Medical Facilities, Expeditionary Medical Units, Afloat Role 2 Enhanced, Afloat Role 3 Hospitalization, as well as new medical programs as they transition from research or new start programs.
- Analyze the preparation and dissemination of programmatic guidance, advice, and all necessary templates to ensure budget justification materials are accurate, complete, and budget risk is identified
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to support health system transformation and integration efforts.
- Assist with the implementation of new technologies and improvement training programs for health support systems.
- Support analysis, research, and data calls related to health system modernization and sustainment strategies.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system specifications, integration plans, and training materials.
- Provide technical support for Navy health systems, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
- Contribute to business case analysis (BCA) and financial/budget analysis related to health support projects.
- Provide administrative and technical support for executive forums, modernization boards, and cross-program analysis
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be local to DC area. Required on site 4-5 days a week at Pentagon in Arlington, VA
- 8 years of combined professional work experience in health support analysis or related roles.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Business/Management, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience with health system operations, IT systems integration, and data analytics.
- Familiarity with Navy health operations, IT training, policy management, and health system management.
Security Clearance:
Applicants may be required to have an active security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance as specified in the minimum qualifications. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not be limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
