The Schwartz School of the Arts seeks to hire one student employee as a Graphic Design Assistant. This
position is for the 2025–2026 academic year at up to 10 hours/week.
Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Design promotional materials for the Schwartz School of the Arts
- Work within the style guide provided for SSoA
- Assist director and coordinator of SSoA in design needs for events
- Assist in producing events within SSoA
Work-study eligible students welcome.
Compensation and Benefits
- Rate of Pay: $15.97/hour
- Minnesota Sick and Safe Time
- Not eligible for health insurance benefits
Required Skills
- Communicate clearly in writing and in person
- Design skills in computer software
- Curiosity to learn the process of print and production
- Attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to work independently
- Focus on creative problem-solving
Required Experience
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
- Experience working on collaborative, creative projects
- Successfully passed Art 315 Graphic Systems
